Aadi Mahotsav 2023- “Shree Anna”
Along with the customary attractions like handicrafts, handloom, pottery, jewelry, etc., the Mahotsav will place a special emphasis on showcasing “Shree Anna” (a more recent official designation for millets produced by tribal people) grown by tribal people as 2023 is also being observed as the International Year of Millets. Millets have long been a staple of tribal communities’ diets.
Furthermore, 2023 has been designated as the International Year of Millets by the United Nations at the request of the Indian government. Tribal artisans from across the nation are invited to showcase and sell millet (Shree Anna) products and cuisines to mark this occasion, raise awareness of it, and increase the production and consumption of tribal millets.

Today, India proudly represents Adivasi culture on some of the biggest platforms in the world as a response to global issues like climate change and global warming.
It is great initiative for the social inclusion of the tribal community as they have faced discrimination on large scale. Also there is strong need of awareness among the non tribal population about the culture and heritage they are boasting about , which are all preserved by our tribal population.
The initiative will also signify the unity in diversity of our country and also govt , we voted for, should start working for every citizen of democratic republic of India which will not only help the tribles but all socio-economic class will rise to heaven on Earth. By this we can again create our dream Land on Earth which once existed prior to British Rule.
